What is going on with the current Fort Collins housing market, due to Covid-19 Corona virus? In two short words, a lot!
The Fort Collins Board of Realtors just released April 2020 numbers relating to new listings, sold listings, median home values, home sales,and days on market for both single family dwellings and townhouse-condo dwellings. And wow! A 31% decrease in new listings for single family and 42% decrease in new listings for townhomes/condos! And it comes as no surprise that with that reduction in housing supply came a 4.8% increase in median single family home prices.
